The Ulysses butterfly also commonly known as the "Blue Emperor", is a large swallowtail butterfly found in Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. The stunning Blue Black butterfly is also very iridescent.
The small butterfly displayed here is called Callicore Hystaspes. A beautiful little species. This butterfly is found in the upper Amazonian regions of Brazil, Ecuador and Peru.
